Backyard Gate Accessibility for Party Rentals
Before delivery, make sure we have enough gate and pathway access to move your rental equipment safely into the backyard.
Gate Access Requirements for BounceUp AZ
Gate access depends on the type of inflatable you rent. Bounce houses can fit through much smaller openings than water slides and combo units. The pathway also needs to remain clear from the gate to the setup area.
Double Gate Access for Water Slide Rentals
Double-gate access is the cleanest option for our water slide rentals. The wider opening gives us room to move the rolled inflatable and delivery equipment through the yard without forcing it through a tight space.
- Preferred access for all water slides
- Both gate panels should be able to open
- The path beyond the gate should remain clear
- Move trash cans, furniture and other obstacles before delivery
Double Gate Access for Combo Bounce House Rentals
Combo bounce houses are also large, heavy units. We recommend the same double-gate access used for water slides so our crew has a wide, direct route into the backyard.
30-Inch Single Gate Access for Bounce House Rentals
Standard bounce houses are much easier to move through residential backyard gates. A clear gate opening of about 30 inches should work for BounceUp AZ bounce house rentals.
Single-Gate Vehicle Access for Water Slides & Combo Houses
A double gate is not the only option. If you have one large single gate, we can also use it for water slides and combo houses when the opening is wide enough for a vehicle roughly the size of a Honda Civic to pass through.
We are using the vehicle only as an easy visual reference for the amount of width we need. You do not need to drive a vehicle into the yard.
Measure Your Gate Before Delivery
- Measure the clear opening with the gate fully open.
- Check for hinges, latches, posts or stops that reduce the usable width.
- Clear the entire route from the gate to the setup location.
- Let us know about tight turns, stairs, slopes or narrow side yards.
- If you are unsure, send us a photo before your rental date.
